Formed in Sheffield, England, in 1977, Def Leppard rose from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal to become one of the world's most successful rock bands. The group's career highlights include Pyromania and Hysteria, albums packed with enduring hits such as “Photograph,” “Hysteria,” “Rock of Ages” and “Pour Some Sugar on Me.” With more than 100 million records sold worldwide, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
Def Leppard's story also reflects remarkable perseverance: drummer Rick Allen continued his career after losing an arm in a 1984 car accident. The band is known for energetic performances and large-scale production, while its singalong choruses make songs like “Animal” and “Pour Some Sugar on Me” natural arena highlights. The Struts and Goo Goo Dolls are listed as the supporting acts for this date; specific set times and the running order may vary.
